Accounting Manager

Description Kforce's client, a growing life sciences organization located in Burlington, MA area, is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to support accounting operations, financial reporting, tax compliance, FP&A, and eventually through an ERP implementation. This full-time on-site role is a high-visibility opportunity for a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable taking ownership across multiple areas of Finance as right hand to CFO/ Controller.

Responsibilities:
* Lead monthly and quarterly close activities
* Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidated financial statements
* Support tax provisions, compliance, audits, and external advisors
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and variance analysis
* Support ERP implementation, data migration, testing, and process improvements
* Partner with Finance, IT, and operational teams Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* CPA or CPA candidate preferred
* 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience
* Strong general-ledger and full-cycle close experience
* Prior Life Sciences, Pharma or Biotech industry client base or experience strongly preferred.
* Advanced Excel and strong U.S. GAAP knowledge
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
