Job Description & How to Apply Below
Aieres Group is hiring a Project Manager to lead our project management function. You'll own a portfolio of commercial-scale multifamily projects across New England, report directly to our COO, and help shape how we run projects as we grow.
Why This Role- Your experience matters. Clean submittals, reliable manpower, accurate schedules, no surprises at closeout: you know what great project delivery looks like, and here you'll be trusted to run it your way.
- You’ll have real ownership. You’ll manage the full financial picture of your projects, including budgets, change orders, billing, and forecasting, and your decisions will have a direct, visible impact on the business.
- There are no layers between you and leadership. You report to the COO, so your ideas get heard and acted on instead of getting lost in a chain of command.
- You’ll build something. As the lead on our project management function, you’ll shape the processes, tools, and team that come after you, with a clear path to Senior Project Manager as we grow.
- The company is stable. We’ve been family-owned since the early 1980s, and over 75% of our work comes from repeat clients and referrals, so the pipeline is steady.
We’re a specialty contractor delivering commercial painting and architectural millwork for commercial-scale multifamily projects across New England. For more than 40 years, we’ve built our reputation on craftsmanship, integrity, and follow-through, and our long-standing GC relationships are proof of it.
What You’ll Do- Plan and manage resources, budgets, and schedules across multiple active multifamily projects, with workload depending on project size and phase.
- Own each project from start-up through closeout, keeping quality high and GC partners and owners satisfied.
- Review contracts, drawings, and scope, and resolve discrepancies before they become problems.
- Lead site visits and coordinate with GC project managers, superintendents, and our field teams.
- Manage change orders, estimates, and project documentation, including submittals, samples, and safety information.
- Support and mentor field teams to keep production on schedule and on budget.
- Track costs, prepare billing forecasts, and work with finance on budget adjustments.
- Drive timely closeout, including punch lists and warranty documentation.
- 3–5 years of construction project management experience, preferably with a general contractor on multifamily projects
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical documents
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and construction management software
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, plus the judgment to work effectively with GCs, owners, and field crews
- Initiative: you take ownership and move things forward without waiting to be asked
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to job sites across New England
- $145,000–$170,000 base salary, paid weekly
- $10,000 sign-on bonus, plus ongoing bonus opportunities
- Safe Harbor 401(k): we match 100% of your first 3% and 50% of the next 2%, up to a 4% total match
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage
- 15 days of PTO plus paid holidays
- Paid professional development
- Gas card for site travel
- A direct line to leadership and a clear path to Senior PM
