Salon Receptionist at James Joseph Salon Job Description

James Joseph Salon is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for its location in Burlington at 3rd Avenue. We need one day, Sundays from 9:30am to 5pm.

Our ideal candidate should possess strong customer service skills, fashionable appearance, be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills and be able to handle staff, clients and prospective clientele with a positive attitude. Any candidate should also have the ability to multi-task effectively and be computer literate.

• Strong customer service skills. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, service with a smile, tact and diplomacy
• Must be punctual, dependable, proactive and have the ability to work well with and salon owner, staff and clients
• Excellent communication skills: ability to communicate in a professional and friendly manner
• Must be comfortable speaking with clients and prospective clients on the telephone and in-person
• Ability to deal with guest challenges with ease and train other front desk coordinators to do the same
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Able to work as a team player and independently
• Ability to educate and sell services and retail products to clients
