Quality Engineering
Class III Implantable Devices Burlington, MA. On site four days a week, one day from home.
Most early-career quality engineers get one narrow slice of a big company's quality system. This role gives you the whole lifecycle.
Our client builds implantable devices on a proprietary hydrogel platform.
- Track record: their lead product, a Class III surgical sealant, went from program start to PMA approval in about three and a half years, roughly half the industry norm.
- Latest approval: a second product from the same platform received FDA PMA approval this autumn.
- New headquarters: the company is now moving into a much larger HQ with manufacturing and labs in Burlington, just off Route 3 and I-95.
The team is small, so the work is broad. You could be on a nonconformance on Monday and a design verification on Tuesday.
Where it leads. The company is growing fast, and the role grows with it, with real room to progress. They develop and promote their own people. I've partnered with this quality team for several years, and in that time no one has left.
