Reporting to Circulation Librarian, this position supports a Circulation Department that prides itself on the highest quality of service at the busiest public desk within the Library.

• Reshelve library materials
• Pull books from shelves as directed
• Keep shelves neat and in good order
• Perform other tasks requiring similar levels of skill and responsibility as assigned

• Attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
• Reliability and able to work independently
• Experience working with the public
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be able to move loaded book carts and reach all shelves to a six-foot level, with or without a stool

This is a part time, non-union position, 12.25 hours per week, with no benefits

Hours are Monday, Tuesday and Friday 10am - 1pm and Saturday 2 - 5:15pm. Opportunity to work Sundays and summer Saturdays as overtime shifts.

Hourly rate is $16.72 per hour
