Service Associate

Service Associate – 30 hrs

Eastern Bank is hiring a Service Associate to work 30 hours per week, including every Saturday. The role combines traditional Teller and Customer Service Representative duties, providing sales, loan processing, and transaction services across the branch.

• Process loan applications, loan closings, and referrals across consumer and small business lines.
• Conduct daily account maintenance, deposit handling, cash handling, and check processing.
• Perform foreign currency purchases, loan payments, and credit card cash advances.
• Reach out proactively to high‑value customers by phone and in person to grow portfolios and retain relationships.
• Maintain compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory reporting.
• Support quarterly sales and overall branch performance.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1‑2 years of sales experience in retail, financial services, or hospitality preferred.
• Basic banking experience (teller, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Self‑starter, outgoing, and technically literate.
• Ability to work independently, multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic business acumen and professionalism.

• Stationary position for long periods; continuous customer contact.
• Transport items weighing 15 lbs or more.
