Engage Life Program Instructor at Atria Senior Living
.
Join our team to engage residents in meaningful activities and enhance their quality of life.
Base pay range$16.00/hr - $19.20/hr

- High school diploma or GED; 3‑6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education or experience acceptable.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Effective presentation of information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Lead assigned Engage Life programs that enhance resident lives.
- Offer adequate and diversified recreational activities with sufficient supervision.
- Develop programs for residents, including those confined to their rooms.
- Engage and motivate residents, resulting in program participation.
- Inform residents of upcoming activities and maintain current schedule on bulletin board.
- Greet new residents, make a special effort to include them in activities and introduce them to others with similar interests.
- Assist in planning parties and activities, decorating the community for holidays and seasonal events, and planning monthly birthday parties.
- Assist in Bright Beginnings housewarmings.
- Support and actively participate in the community’s census building initiatives.
- Maintain records of all activities, resident participation levels, and acceptance of each activity as required by state law.
- Assist Engage Life Director in enlisting volunteers for the activities program.
- May drive company vehicle from community to social and other various destinations as required.
- Perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
