Salary
$59,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year.
Responsibilities
- Set up banquet room with linen, serviceware, and glassware as instructed.
- Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function particulars and guest expectations.
- Greet guests and respond to requests courteously.
- Serve food and/or beverages in the order expected by the Banquet Captain, ensuring consistency throughout the banquet.
- Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal at the end of the function.
- Replenish beverages as necessary, checking with guests for overall satisfaction.
- Practice teamwork and "Clean as you go" policies.
- After banquet completion, reset banquet room according to Captain's specifications to ensure readiness for the following function and sanitation of banquet areas.
- Attend monthly departmental meetings.
Qualifications
Experience in banquet service and strong customer service skills are preferred. Ability to work flexible weekend and evening hours.
