Education: Bachelor’s Degree Applied Data Engineering or Science, Computer Science, Physics or a field of study, such as statistics, mathematics, data analytics, data science, computer science or other technology related fields.
Outcomes: Individual in this position is expected to achieve the following outcomes:
- Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) score necessary to effectively perform contract.
- CMMC compliance.
- 3 emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies that streamline business processes, workflows, and information visualization that would improve the Gemini brand and production efficiency.
The Corporate Information Technology (IT) Manager at Gemini Industries will lead the strategic direction of the company's IT infrastructure, ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, keep the company on pace with evolving technology, oversee new Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning initiatives and business opportunities, and maintain Gemini’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). The Corporate IT Manager will oversee the integration of technology across all operational aspects to enhance efficiency, security, and innovation.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Strategic IT Leadership:
Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company's mission and business goals. Lead technology innovation to support new business opportunities and operational efficiency. - Keep pace with evolving technologies, identify acquisition opportunities, recommend technology initiatives, and ensure sound life cycle management for IT hardware and infrastructure.
- CMMC Compliance:
Direct the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and infrastructure to meet CMMC standards. Ensure all IT operations comply with federal cybersecurity requirements, focusing on protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). - Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the corporate IT infrastructure, including network systems, cloud services, data centers, and cybersecurity tools. Ensure scalability, security, and performance of all IT systems. - Team Leadership:
Manage a diverse team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence. Mentor and develop talent within the department. - Vendor and Partnership Management:
Cultivate relationships with technology vendors, partners, and key stakeholders to enhance technological capabilities and solutions. - Budget Oversight:
Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while investing in future technologies. - Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate technology-related risks, particularly in cybersecurity, to safeguard company data and operations. Identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements including re‑designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes.
The candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in leading IT strategy in a large organization with complex systems.
- Extensive knowledge of CMMC, NIST, and other relevant cybersecurity frameworks.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience (including demonstrated expert ability to use statistical software programs (e.g., R, Python, Weka, Apache Spark, and SQL).
- Ability to perform root cause analysis on external and internal processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement and answer questions.
- Excellent analytic skills associated with working on unstructured datasets.
- Experience in supporting technical, managerial, or operational fields and mature judgement required to interface with external stakeholders and senior government personnel.
- Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills are required.
