Your role :

As the Head of Strategic Marketing for Biology, you will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction and growth of the Business Unit, directly influencing its success in the competitive life sciences market.

Your role will involve collaborating with the business fields to develop product strategies, cohesive offerings, and value propositions, and prioritizing initiatives that drive growth. You will inspire and empower our commercial teams across the Regions while working closely with the marketing execution teams to ensure the successful execution of multi-channel initiatives. You will define and execute pricing strategies that align with our business objectives, maximize profitability, and enhance our competitive edge in the market.

Additionally, your role will include overseeing the business planning and execution function, where you will guide strategic planning for the business unit.

Ultimately, your contributions will be vital in driving the growth and success of the Biology Franchise, positioning it as a leader in the life sciences sector and creating significant value for the organization.

Who you are:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, Masters, MBA, or PhD preferred.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in strategic marketing within the life sciences or biotechnology sectors, demonstrating a successful track record of driving marketing initiatives. You also have 7+ years’ experience of leadership/managerial experience.

    You possess a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer insights, enabling you to identify opportunities and threats effectively.

    Excellent Leadership Skills with proven track record of building and developing successful teams, both in direct management and matrix environment, fostering high impact and performance culture.

    You are a strategic thinker focused on results, capable of developing long-term marketing strategies that align with business objectives.

    You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with stakeholders and present ideas clearly.
  • Project Management:
    You demonstrate strong project management capabilities, ensuring that marketing initiatives are executed on time and within budget.
  • Analytical

    Skills:

    You are proficient in data analysis and strategic planning tools, using metrics to inform decision-making and optimize marketing performance.
  • Compliance Knowledge:
    You have knowledge of compliance regulations and data management best practices, ensuring all marketing activities adhere to industry standards.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and provide clear direction in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment, ensuring effective execution across stakeholders.
  • Experience leading across a complex, international network of stakeholders, including Commercial, R&D, Quality and Operations.
  • Ability to travel internationally (up to 20%).

Pay range for this position: $209,600 - $314,400 The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
