Engineering Technician

Overview

The Fountain Group is currently seeking an Engineering Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Burlington, MA
. Pay Range: $28 - $33/hr depending on experience.

Contract:

6 months temp to hire
. 100% onsite in Burlington, MA.

• Responsible to support several technical manufacturing processes in a small-scale fast-paced development production environment.
• Primary responsibilities will include analyzing and reporting production data, conducting technical experiments, troubleshooting process equipment, supporting process improvement activities, documenting process specifications and generating standard operating procedures.
• Partners closely with numerous internal business functions such as Process Engineering, Beverage Product Development, Productivity and Continuous Improvement, Quality, and Technical Services Operations.
• Become proficient in technical processes and equipment, such as coffee roasting and grinding, as well as other innovative and exciting processes and quality and analytical measurement tools.
• Analyze multiple categories of production and quality data, using statistical data analysis for data-driven decision making.
• Develop reports and metrics that drive continuous process improvements and technology/innovation development.
• Provide hands-on technical troubleshooting support for processes and equipment within a small-scale manufacturing environment.
• Lead and/or support testing and experiments for product and process innovations.

• Bachelor's degree required
• Manufacturing or R&D experience is a plus
