American Traveler is hiring a Surgical ICU RN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring ICU/telemetry experience, Epic proficiency, and an active MA RN license.

• 24-bed high acuity Surgical Intensive Care Unit with clinical specialties in General Surgery, Trauma, Transplant, and Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Level one trauma center setting
• Cares for a wide variety of acutely ill patients requiring additional acute therapies
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other weekend
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Uses Epic EMR
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
• ICU and telemetry experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a Day 1 pass/fail test on medications and dysrhythmias
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months (perm, per diem, or contract) prior to consideration

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a Level 1 trauma center
• Required vaccines include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• First-time travelers are not specified as excluded, but prior ICU/telemetry experience is mandatory
