As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic and growing sales team.
Position Overview
As an SDR, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers. Your role is to identify and qualify leads, initiate conversations, and set the stage for successful sales engagements. You’ll work closely with the marketing and sales teams to drive pipeline growth and expand our reach in the global engineering community. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, charismatic individual with excellent communication skills.
This is an onsite role in our Burlington, MA office.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential customers in target industries (aerospace, energy, power generation, etc.)
- Conduct outbound strategic outreach via email, phone, Linked In, and other channels
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule meetings for Account Executives
- Achieve and exceed quotas and KPIs such as minimum number of daily cold calls
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and track engagement metrics
- Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and campaigns
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and product developments
- Influence the sales process and enhance current capabilities based on learnings from discovery calls
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (preferably in B2B tech or engineering software)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Hub Spot, Salesforce) is a plus
- Interest in engineering, turbo machinery, or simulation software is a bonus
