Sales Specialist Full‑Time

The Sales Specialist plays a vital role in representing the Northbridge brand, supporting organizational occupancy targets, and ensuring that prospective residents and families receive exceptional service throughout the sales and move‑in process.

The Sales Specialist is responsible for providing strategic and operational sales support to assigned Northbridge communities at the direction of the Vice President of Sales. This role is deployed to communities with specific sales, occupancy, or operational needs and is instrumental in driving performance through lead generation, outreach, closing sales, and supporting transitions during Sales Director vacancies.

This position is 100% field‑based and requires frequent travel. Assignments vary in length and focus based on the evolving priorities of the community and the goals established by the VP of Sales.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Achieve assigned occupancy, sales, and move‑in targets through effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Develop and maintain up‑to‑date sales and marketing action plans, including daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities. Encourage resident referral leads which are a significant proportion of new leads generated.
  • Develop outreach activities that produce viable new leads and proactively identify and pursue publicity opportunities.
  • Conduct outbound calls, follow‑up tasks, and ongoing engagement using the CRM system to maximize lead conversion.
  • Ensure that appointment, tour, phone‑out activity goals are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Conduct community tours, deliver compelling presentations, and close sales in alignment with Northbridge standards and practices. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads through internal and external channels.
  • Encourage and cultivate resident referral programs to generate inbound leads.
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies that drive brand awareness, referral relationships, and new lead opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for community visibility, publicity, and partnerships.
  • Manage monthly fee increases on turnover of apartments to maximize revenues while minimizing lost revenue days.
  • Ensure rental incentives or allowances remain within budgeted guidelines and are used judiciously.
  • Conduct weekly hot‑lead review meetings with the Executive Director and VP Sales/Regional Sales Director to assess progress and adjust strategies.
  • Facilitate a smooth and timely transition from sales to operations to minimize move‑in fall‑through and cancellations.
  • Partner with operations to ensure leases, move‑in documentation, and resident records are completed accurately and transferred efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with department directors to reinforce the shared responsibility of sales and service excellence.
Requirements
  • Minimum of an associate’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, marketing, and/or public relations preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ health care marketing experience is preferred.
Additional Requirements
  • Must meet all state health requirements.
  • Must pass background screen (including criminal, MVR, etc.).
  • Current Driver’s license with the ability to travel, as the job requires.
  • Maintain flexible work schedule to be available to work evenings and weekends if necessary.
