Part Time, Weekend Day and Evening Security Officer, Burlington Area

Shift Details

Part‑time day shift: 6 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Part‑time evening shift: 2 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Pay Rate

$22.15 per hour

Days

Saturday and Sunday

Vehicle Requirement

Must have own vehicle. No public transportation to the site. Parking available on‑site.

Security Officer Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor multiple premises to detect irregularities, including suspicious behavior or security breaches.
• Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
• Communicate with local law‑enforcement units and fire departments as necessary.
• Conduct foot patrols of the premises.
• Write detailed daily incident reports.
• Maintain and submit all forms associated with patrol activities.
• Respond to incidents regarding security and safety concerns.
• Conduct unarmed foot patrols (interior and/or exterior).
• Respond to requests for assistance and evaluate appropriate courses of action.
• Comply with all requirements and directives within the on‑site operations manual/post orders.
• Assume other duties as required by either client or Northeast Security, Inc.

Security Officer Requirements

• Preferred: customer‑service experience.
• Background of previous customer‑service experience or related field/education.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• Dependable means of transportation.
• Clear and effective communication in English (written and verbal).
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Successful completion of all pre‑employment background and drug screenings.
• Minimum age 18 years.

Education

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
