Job Title: Pool Team Member and Front Desk Representative |

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Summary: Applicants interested in the Pool Team Member and Front Desk Representative position must be excited to work in a fun, fast paced environment to make every interaction a positive unforgettable experience for our guests. With our unique, high standard developmental programs you will master the art of guest experience and can grow professionally into an exciting career. Applicants will be fully trained as a Swim Instructor and Lifeguard and be expected to hold a minimum of one teaching shift and one lifeguarding shift in addition to any front desk hours.

• Become knowledgeable of the Goldfish Swim School Brand and clearly communicate membership and scheduling options, year-round programs, and special events to current and prospective members.
• Teach life saving swim skills to children aged 4 months - 12 years.
• Maintain active relevant certifications (First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguarding).
• Conduct sales calls in accordance with Goldfish Swim Schools core values of Integrity/Compassion/Trust and WOW! Customer Service.
• Communicate with customers in a timely manner via email and phone calls.
• Enroll students in the proper lesson level according to the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
• Discusses multiple membership opportunities with members.
• Responsible for the overall cleanliness at the front desk and the dry side of the facility.
• Ensure the retail and vending areas is clean, professional, stocked, labeled and profitable.
• Consistently provide exceptional guest service and enthusiastically create an unforgettable experience through personal interactions with our guests.
• Contribute to the success of the school by driving specific business metrics
• Build friendships based on collaboration, integrity, compassion, and trust to create a great place to work that is reflected by the exceptional guest service.
• Participate and/or initiate special duties and projects to enhance operational efficiency and improve the guest experience.
• Other duties as assigned.

The safety of our swimmers, parents and team members is of the utmost importance. Goldfish Swim School follows all CDC and WHO safety standards along with following any local guidelines.

High school diploma or GED. Some college education is preferred. 3 years sales experience or equivalent highly preferred.

Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification must be completed within 60 days of hire.

While performing this job, the employee is exposed to heat and humidity occasionally. Noise level is usually moderate.
