Mortgage Loan Officer – New Jersey at WSFS Bank

• Provide service to customers and prospective customers seeking residential mortgage loans.
• Interview applicants to acquire information concerning their current financial situation, needs, desires and property information, and analyze pertinent data.
• Ensure the customer understands the loan process from application through closing.
• Keep informed of trends and developments in the local real estate market and changing rules and regulations pertaining to private and government‑insured residential mortgages.

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Minimum three years of experience marketing and originating residential mortgage loans.
• Effective sales skills and proven track record.
• Excellent time‑management and organization skills.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness and ability to travel to assigned branch locations, customers' homes and businesses, and perform presentations when requested.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Superior customer‑service skills.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Proficiency with industry‑standard mortgage origination software strongly preferred.

Base salary: $35,563 – $35,563 per year. Eligible to earn commissions based upon individual production. Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, education, location and other factors.
