Licensed Mental Health Therapist (IIC) - Spanish-Speaking Female Needed in Burlington County
Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare has immediate openings for Part-time Licensed Therapists in Southern New Jersey to provide In-Home weekly therapeutic services for youth with mental health disorders. This role offers an excellent opportunity for passionate professionals to make a meaningful impact while working with a diverse population of children and adolescents with exceptional needs.
Base pay range
$45.00/hr - $75.00/hr
Responsibilities- Providing individual In-home therapy and Telehealth therapy sessions.
- Performing bio-psycho-social assessments is a plus.
- Provide coping and social skills, anger management and reduce risk behaviors such as SIB or physical aggression.
- Work to improve youth and caretaker decision-making skills to manage in-home behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate effectively and consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and/or professionals from other disciplines who also work to support the youth and family.
- Submit all required documentation and paperwork within designated time frames (intake, treatment plan, DAP notes, etc.).
- Attend monthly meetings and submit mandatory clinical documentation.
- Must be able to complete or willing to train for Bio-Psycho-Social assessments.
- Must have a master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields (e.g., LSW, LAC, LFT).
- Has Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training.
- Has some training or willing to complete Crisis Intervention Training.
- Has post-internship field experience working with youth with mental health disorders with clinical experience.
- Has experience with creating treatment planning, treatment goals setting, progress notes, and initial assessments.
- Has experience in various counseling approaches: CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma Response.
- Knows how to use the DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis.
- Must be available for a minimum 6-10 hours per week during after-school hours (12 noon through 8pm). Weekend flexibility is a plus.
- Must have experience providing positive behavior supports.
- Must have prior experience working with children ages 3-20; experience with children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle.
- Must pass a criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting.
- Must submit resume plus copies of master’s degree, with a copy of NJ License or Certification.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor H-1B or other employment visas at this time.
Note: State reciprocity is considered but the candidate needs to be no more than 25-30 minutes commute to the designated service areas. The license must be registered with the NJ Marriage & Family Therapy Board (i.e., PA, NY & NJ).
