Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Analyst of Asset Protection Technology to join Burlington! The Project Analyst – IT Field Services acts as the local point of contact for Burlington business partners, third-party vendors, and incident escalation, supporting the broader IT Field Service team. This role requires strong knowledge of Asset Protection Technology and Store Development within a retail environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesReview technical drawings, develop action plans, and manage projects such as new store openings, remodels, relocations, refreshes, special projects, and store closings. Support incident resolution, create and manage escalation procedures, and ensure service levels are met. Collaborate with technical and non‑technical teams, troubleshoot issues, identify opportunities for new technology, and maintain project documentation.
A Day in the Life- Work directly with AP and corporate partners (Stores, Planning, Marketing, Construction, Facilities, Corporate Store Operations, Field partners).
- Troubleshoot issues and system problems independently.
- Identify opportunities and implement new technology to improve productivity and associate experience.
- Ensure coverage for incident management and AP project work.
- Coordinate plans and schedules between field and corporate partners.
- Support newly deployed hardware and software.
- Analyze user and corporate requests to identify areas for operational improvement.
- Perform planning and scheduling for store development projects.
- Create, maintain, and provide procedural documentation.
- Maintain clear communication and transparency around issues.
- Communicate with store management to address unreported concerns.
- Provide recommendations to improve AP technology deployment.
- Deliver written and oral reports, project updates, and communication logs.
- Attend remote or on‑site meetings as scheduled by the AP Manager, Technology.
- Drive lasting solutions and drill into root causes.
- Partner with appropriate teams to ensure problem resolution.
- Enhance and improve business processes.
- Validate modified or new systems.
- Retain ownership of unresolved issues and inform customers of status.
- Prevent recurring problems and support incidents impacting client computing support and employee productivity.
- Monitor customer expectations, measure results, and make changes when appropriate.
- High School diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in a related retail environment.
- Project Management experience.
- Retail technology experience.

Pay Range$50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
