The Registered Nurse – ER/Medical Surgical will provide patient care in a 25-bed critical access hospital
, working across both the Emergency Department and Med Surg unit. The nurse will care for patients of all ages and must be prepared to float between departments.

• Deliver comprehensive care across ER and Med Surg units.
• Manage a 1:4 patient ratio in Med Surg while responding to emergency situations.
• Support patient admissions, assessments, treatments, and documentation in CPSI Evident EMR
  .
• Provide care in accordance with BLS and other clinical standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.

• ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Prior critical access hospital experience.

• Emergency and medical-surgical nursing
• Patient assessment and triage
• EMR documentation (CPSI Evident)

• Pediatric and geriatric patient care
• Crisis intervention and stabilization
• Interdisciplinary collaboration

• Flexibility to float between ER and Med Surg
• Ability to handle high-volume, acute cases
• Strong adaptability to varying shifts
