Base pay range$15.60/hr - $22.00/hr
Position OverviewSupport vendors by processing requests for assistance and facilitating solutions. Report on daily incident counts and aging metrics, host vendor calls for onboarding and EDI training and validate compliance chargeback issues.
A Day In The Life Vendor Support Relationship Management- Responds promptly to vendor emails and inquiries inquiring on payment status, compliance issues and shipping requirements.
- Utilizes strong organizational partnerships to enhance information sharing, support informed decision-making, and achieve objectives.
- Brings escalated issues to Supervisor and recommend solutions.
- Host introductory calls with vendors and train vendors on EDI platform usage.
- Additional projects and duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills in managing vendor correspondence and aging incidents.
- Advise appropriate cross‑functional teams of vendor issues for direction on next steps; including liaising with Accounts Payable team on payment status, short‑age research and dispute approvals, etc.
- Review compliance chargebacks and validate.
- Works effectively in MS Office suite and company systems.
- Effectively manages daily tasks and assignments and checks deliverables for accuracy.
- Publish internal report daily; publish weekly recap for senior leadership.
- Prioritizes tasks with strong time‑management skills and uses business acumen to anticipate the needs of the business.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures for all Vendor Relations work processes.
- Prepare presentation materials on new initiatives and updated work processes, present training sessions to the team or vendors.
Experience: 2-5 years of customer service experience preferred.
