Flex Security Officers in Burlington, NJ. Positions offer a starting pay rate of $19.00/hr with weekly pay.

Requirements

• Active SOLO
• CPR/AED Certification (preferred)
• 2–3 years of security experience
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders/SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

Flex Officer Explanation

The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company’s operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts that become open due to illness, call‑offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers, while also protecting the health and work balance of our personnel.

Scheduling Expectations

• You will be trained at various posts and/or facilities based on operational need.
• Your schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week, etc.) will vary based on operational need.
• You will be assigned to, or offered the opportunity to accept, shifts as they become available due to staffing needs.
• Some of your shifts will be scheduled in advance and posted with the new week’s schedule. Sometimes you will be called with short notice and asked to come in to cover for someone who is unable to work their shift.
• You are expected to work any shift for which you are scheduled in advance that falls within the availability described on this sheet. If you know you will be unavailable on an upcoming date or time that would normally fall within your availability described on this sheet, you must communicate this with your supervisor.
• For short‑notice call‑ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called. Refusal of more than 20% of calls could negatively impact your employment status with the company.

Education Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.

Certification Requirements

NJ SORA License.
