Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Controller to support the Controller in managing the organization s accounting operations. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective internal controls. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, proactive, analytical, collaborative professional with strong background in manufacturing finance and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Lead and coordinate the month-end close process to ensure completion within a strict 2-day timeline
• Oversee general ledger activities and journal entries, reconcile key accounts and validate financial data for accuracy
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies and procedures
• Coordinate audits and liaise with internal and external auditors
• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to track production costs, overhead allocation, and inventory valuation
• Manage the fixed asset register, conduct periodic asset audits and reconcile physical assets with accounting records
• Prepare and file property tax yearly filings
• Collaborate with cost accountants and operations to analyze cost variances and provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency
• Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures
• Assist with treasury operations as required
• Support the accounts payable, accounts receivables, and general accounting to shared services
• Developing and maintaining contact lists for different departments

• Bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in public accounting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Strong Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (Infor XA, One Stream, Blackline) and intermediate excel skills required
