Burlington County Special Services School District is looking for a Teacher Assistant.

Job Duties

• Demonstrated enthusiasm for supporting the needs of students with significant educational disabilities and behavioral challenges.
• Provide support to a certified teacher to ensure a safe and stimulating educational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work with or experience working with children with disabilities.
• Willingness to work with a diverse group of individuals.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, employees and others.
• Must be able to perform physical work, which requires frequent bending and lifting.
• Assists the teacher in planning and preparation for daily activities; aids instructional efforts of the teacher.
• Assists the teacher in preparing lesson outlines, plans, and curricula in assigned areas.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
