Medical Assistant at Center Well Senior Primary Care

Pay Range Base pay: $40,000.00 - $52,300.00 per year

• Discuss symptoms with patients
• Gather and input information into the electronic medical records system
• Take vital signs
• Give injections
• Perform diagnostic tests
• Collect specimens
• Draw blood
• Sterilize and clean equipment
• Maintain examination rooms
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses
• Deliver direct patient care within certification limits
• Interpret area/department policy and prioritize tasks under minimal direction
• Follow standard policies and practices with discretion

• Active Medical Assistant Certificate as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). If currently certified, you must complete the Humana approved certification program within one year of hire.
• Experience in a fast pace/high volume environment
• Experience with MS Outlook
• Basic computer knowledge
• CPR certification
• Previous phlebotomy experience
• Willingness to learn and be cross‑trained in other roles based on business need
• Role is patient facing and part of Humana’s TB screening program; TB screening required if selected

• Certified or Registered – (Arizona, Indiana, & South Carolina candidates require Medical Assistant Certification or Registration)
• 1+ years MA experience
• Value Based Care experience including HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS patient experience
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (must pass proficiency exam)
