The Systems Administrator will be the primary support for remote, on-site production and office users. The Systems Administrator will also support maintaining the stability and integrity of Carolina's server and storage infrastructure. This includes power needs, security, installation, inventory, backup/restore, and disaster recovery of all these devices. This is a specialized role that requires various technical skills and frequent travel between locations.

• Support IT infrastructure and users across multiple locations, traveling between facilities as needed.
• Support all PC/laptop hardware and software.
• Support physical and virtual servers.
• Ensure servers and storage devices have adequate power protection.
• Maintain an inventory of PC, laptop, and server hardware and software.
• Provide secondary support for network administration.
• Support Carolina's help desk by managing an assigned caseload and providing technical support.
• Manage Active Directory as it relates to hardware, users, groups, and policies.
• Support Carolina's email systems.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend training opportunities to maintain technical skills.
• Perform project-related duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education: College degree in an Information Technology related field required (4-year preferred).

Experience: 2+ years experience supporting a company computer infrastructure required.

Specialized Training/

Skills:

Skilled and formally trained with Microsoft operating systems, desktop/email, and server required. Additional preferred skills in Office 365, Citrix, and VMware preferred.

Working hours are Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm
