Senior In-House Litigation Attorney – Epic
Epic is seeking an exceptional attorney to join our legal team based in our campus in Madison, WI, with relocation assistance provided. This role focuses on managing complex litigation and providing counsel on regulatory, competition, healthcare law, and related risk areas, ensuring compliance across the U.S. and abroad.
Responsibilities- Manage complex litigation, including drafting motions, briefs, and depositions, and representing Epic in high‑stakes legal proceedings.
- Provide proactive risk counseling on regulatory, competition, healthcare, and other potential risk areas.
- Handle and win multi‑million dollar disputes, minimizing risk through proactive counseling.
- Forge relationships with vendors and industry collaborators, ensuring compliance with existing and developing legal frameworks.
- Represent Epic in high‑stakes legal proceedings and lead settlement negotiations.
- Grow rapidly with expanding knowledge of the exciting and rapidly changing industry.
- JD with experience counseling toward risk mitigation, drafting motions and briefs, taking depositions, conducting oral arguments, leading settlement negotiations, and trying cases.
- Competition and regulatory litigation experience is a plus.
- Strong academic and professional background.
- Eye for detail, a creative mind and excellent communication, writing and analytic skills.
- COVID‑19 vaccination.
- Relocation to the Madison, WI area is necessary and will be fully reimbursed.
