Job Summary:

Piedmont Metals is seeking a hardworking and reliable

General Laborerto assist in the cleaning, organizing, and handling of finished and unfinished steel parts. This role will provide essential support to welders and fabricators, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial setting.

• Assist in cleaning and organizing steel parts before and after fabrication.
• Support welders bymoving, positioning, and holding materials during welding and assembly.
• Remove slag, spatter, and debris from welded parts to ensure a smooth finish.
• Operate basic hand and power tools to grind, deburr, or prepare materials.
• Maintain aclean and organized work area, ensuring materials and tools are properly stored.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials for production.
• Follow allsafety protocols and wear required PPEto maintain a hazard-free environment.
• Perform other general labor tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

• Prior experience in amanufacturing or steel fabrication environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift
  50 lbsand perform physically demanding tasks.
• Familiarity withhand tools, grinders, and material handling equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with company policies.

• Ability tostand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasksfor extended periods.
• Work in aware house or shop environment with exposure to heat, dust, noise, and heavy materials.
