(USA) Overnight Stocking Coach, Non-Complex, Management Base Pay Range

$65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates while touring stores and providing feedback.
  • Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
  • Introduce and lead company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate objectives effectively.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
  • Manage and support customer service initiatives such as store community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs and complaints are resolved.
  • Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and provide process improvement leadership to ensure a high‑quality customer experience.
  • Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
  • Ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes, and implement action plans to mitigate shrink.
  • Provide supervision, development, training, and mentoring for hourly associates, hiring, assigning duties, and setting clear expectations.
  • Coordinate and oversee job‑related activities and assignments, develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and support plans and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, values, and ethics, and support the Open Door Policy.
  • Build high‑performing teams, embrace diverse cultures, and create a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected.
  • Attract and retain top talent, empower and develop associates, and recognize contributions and accomplishments.
  • Act with integrity, uphold Walmart values, and support the company’s regenerative goals and community impact initiatives.
  • Serve customers and members by delivering results, applying EDLP and EDLC models, and balancing short‑term and long‑term priorities.
  • Strive for excellence by fostering curiosity, learning, calculated risks, resilience, and technological adoption.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
  • For facilities that sell only ammunition, current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
  • Ability to attend and complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management & Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5+ direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
