Title: HVAC Service Technician III Summary (General Description):

• Troubleshoot and repair existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines.
• Perform maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems and refrigeration systems.
• Maintain and secure spare parts inventory, recommend purchasing of maintenance equipment and supplies as required to improve processes and efficiencies

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Operate Company vehicle
• Service customers as directed by Dispatcher/Supervision
• Maintain service vehicle inventory
• Process/close-out service orders/call slips
• Interact and communicate with customers in a professional manner
• Provide required hand tools for HVAC Service Technician Position
• Periodic weekend and holiday emergency on-call duty

Qualifications (Skills, Education, Certifications, Experience):
Required:

• Possess Valid Driver's License
• Knowledgeable of electrical and refrigeration principles
• Proficient with service tools and testing devices
• Full proficiency in a broad range of activities related to the job (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration)
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate with customers
• Independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors.
• Ability to acquire low voltage license within 2 years
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Ability to layout and install refrigeration piping
• Ability to layout and install low voltage wiring
• 5-7 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technology
• Low voltage License
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
