Accountant – Part‑Time – Burlington, VT

Join YPTC, a national leader in outsourced accounting services to nonprofit organizations. We are hiring a dedicated, personable Accountant to work a hybrid full‑time 35‑hour week or part‑time schedule in South Burlington, VT.

• Process weekly and monthly accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Reconcile bank accounts and prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements and related analysis
• Track and monitor grants and maintain grant records
• Project and monitor cash flow
• Coordinate with clients, client staff, boards, and finance committees

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 3 years of related public‑accounting or nonprofit experience; 5+ years preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude
• Experience with Quick Books or willingness to learn multiple accounting software packages
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Willingness to travel to client offices as needed when safe
• Nonprofit experience preferred, but not required
