Position: Fall 2026 Co-op - Cost Engineering

Overview

Fall 2026 Co-op - Cost Engineering in Burlington, MA. You’ll learn about the Keurig New Product Development process, analyze manufacturing cost drivers, build cost models, and gain exposure to a global organization. You’ll support cost vs. performance tradeoff decisions, meet with KDP leaders, and network with colleagues across the business while contributing to future successes. Co-op with the Keurig Cost Engineering Team to help bring new products to life.

Cost Engineers partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Product, Finance, and other areas to launch innovations that delight consumers.

Technology inside Keurig Brewers and the teams we work with include the technology behind our brewers.

Shift/

Schedule:

  • The KDP 2026 Winter Co-op Program will run from July 13th – December 11th, 2026
  • Location:

    Burlington, MA
  • Full-time; 40 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday
  • 8:00am until 5:00pm
  • Hybrid, In-office Tuesday-Thursday
Responsibilities
  • Learn about Rapid Learning Cycles, New Product Development (NPD), and Product Costing
  • Analyze cost drivers, identify cost reduction opportunities, and activate resources across the Keurig Brewer portfolio
  • Lead a cost modeling improvement project tailored to your experience and interests, then present results to leadership
  • Utilize best-in-class costing tools including the Keurig Cost Workbook and aPriori
  • Get exposure to a global supply chain including electromechanical components, plastics, electronics, and multi-region contract manufacturing

  • Engaging and partnering on innovative projects to gain experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
  • Mentor support for professional development
  • Meet & greets and lunch & learns with KDP executives and other organization leaders
  • Professional development training such as networking, professional skills development and presenting
  • Complete a project from start to finish and present it to your team, department, and senior leaders to highlight impact
Total Rewards
  • $31/hr
  • Paid bi-weekly
  • Sign-on Bonus: $5,000 (paid within 30 days of employment)
Requirements
  • Full-time undergraduate student majoring in Industrial, Mechanical, or similar Engineering;
    Supply Chain Operations
  • Strong communication skills including listening, written, and verbal abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize requests, and meet deadlines
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Relevant work experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to build professional relationships and challenge the status quo
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, be independently driven, and a self-starter
  • Experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment is a plus
