Radiology - Interventional Physician

Position: Interventional Radiologist (IR)
Location: Burlington, VT
Start Date: September 15th, 2025
Coverage Type: General IR Day Coverage, Call Coverage, and CTA/MRA Vascular Interpretation

Scope of Practice & Responsibilities:

• Daily IR coverage including inpatient and outpatient procedures
• Procedure add-ons as needed
• Call coverage per the schedule below
• Required Procedures:
  Venous Access, Biopsies, Drainages, Organ Access, Embolization, Thrombectomy/Thrombolysis, Hepato-biliary/Portal Interventions
• Preferred Procedures:
  All of the above
• Anticipated Procedures: 25 per week (5-7 per day)
• No outpatient clinic or outpatient-based procedures

Schedule & Call Details:

• Day Coverage: Monday Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm
• Overnight Call: Monday Thursday, 5:00pm 8:00am
• Weekend Call: Friday 5:00pm Monday 8:00am (24/7 coverage)

Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certified (BC)
• Fellowship Trained in Interventional Radiology (or IR Residency)
• BLS/ACLS/PALS Required
• Must be affable, available, and a team player joining a well-respected, growing service

Support & Staff Structure:

• IR Techs, RNs, APPs
• Administrative & Managerial Support Staff
• Provider will practice independently
• APPs present, but not under locum's supervision
