Associate Professor – Grossman School of Business, University of Vermont

The University of Vermont invites applications for the Elizabeth and David Daigle Professorship in Finance. The appointment will commence in the fall of 2026 at the Associate Professor level. Successful candidates will possess a doctorate in finance or economics from a nationally or internationally recognized program. Current Associate Professors are preferred. The ideal candidate will have an established record of high‑quality publications, a coherent research agenda, and a demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.
Responsibilities- Teach introductory finance courses and electives in corporate finance, international finance, financial institutions, and financial modeling.
- Develop a sustained research agenda that contributes to the field of finance.
- Contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching excellence.
- Collaborate with alumni and industry partners to enhance faculty‑student engagement.
- Doctorate in finance, economics, or related field.
- Strong publication record in peer‑reviewed journals.
- Commitment to research and teaching excellence.
- Professional experience or credentials such as CFA are desirable.
