POSITION SUMMARY

The Vermont Senior Lender is responsible for the Vermont loan and deposit portfolio. This role will

NShevelvet grow the Vermont lending, credit, and treasury management teams and will drive business for the bank by managing the portfolio in accordance with the bank’s credit philosophy and standards.

• Solicits, negotiates, underwrites, and closes commercial, industrial, and real‑estate loans in compliance with the bank’s policies.
• Develops deposit relationships and promotes business for the bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.
• Analyses loan applicants’ financial condition and risks, and recommends approval or referral in line with bank policies.
• Coordinates the processing of approved loans, ensuring timely and accurate completion and compliance with policy.
• Represents the bank in community, civic, and reinvestment activities to enhance the bank’s image and grow new business.

• 15+ years of commercial lending experience with a proven performance record in leadership, business development, and credit management.
• Solid credit skills and proficiency in C&I, commercial real estate, and construction lending.
• Prior management experience and a track record of community involvement.

May supervise one or more employees and concludes oversight in accordance with Bank policies and applicable laws, ensuring adherence to EEO guidelines.
