Overview:
Maxor National Pharmacy Services is looking for a compassionate, customer service oriented Pharmacy Technician to work full time in our Maxor managed pharmacy at Community Health Centers Pharmacy in Burlington, VT, a community healthcare center based retail pharmacy. In this integrated model, the Maxor pharmacy team will work closely with providers and clinic staff collaboratively, providing team-based medicine with a strong pharmacy component to provide optimal care for patients.

The estimated pay for this position is $22-27/hr depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in providing effective, appropriate, and safe pharmacy services.
- Greet customers and take prescription orders.
- Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
- Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers.
- Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked.
- Answer the phone.
- Input customer information into the computer system.
Vaccines are required.
Qualifications:
- Active pharmacy technician license in the State of VT.
- Current PTCB Certification, or ability to obtain your certification within 6 months (Maxor will assist).
- A minimum of 2 years retail pharmacy experience.
- Proven track record of exemplary customer service.
- Computer experience mandatory.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care.
- Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently.
