Community Engagement Research Navigator

Serve as Community Engagement Research Navigator for the Northern New England Clinical and Translational Research (NNE-CTR) Network, which includes Maine Health (MH), the University of Vermont (UVM), and the University of Southern Maine (USM). The NNE-CTR Network is a large, multi‑site program whose mission is to develop and sustain a clinical and translational research infrastructure that supports improvement in rural and community health for residents of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.

Responsibilities
  • Foster collaborations across diverse geographic areas and research projects on varied topics.
  • Serve as a catalyst for community engagement in translational research, working with stakeholders across a model of engagement.
  • Facilitate T3 (translation to practice) and T4 (translation to population health) research with clinicians in practice sites.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Three to five years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Ability to educate learners in all aspects of research.
  • Extensive knowledge of statistical principles and methods, and proficiency with computers, databases, and computer‑based analysis packages for research (SAS, SPSS, or Stata preferred).
  • Ability to function independently and facilitate projects through all phases of development and implementation.
