Infosys is seeking a DB2 Database Consultant
. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across database technologies.

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Malta, NY or Burlington VT and be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 8 years in DB2 Database Administrator roles.
• In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to “U.S. persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R.
• 120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees.
• Experience in installation, configuration, patching, upgradation, migration & administration of DB2 LUW 11.1 or higher.
• Hands‑on experience in HADR, DPF, Table Partitioning, Data Studio.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like shell or Perl for standardization and automation.
• Experience in project life cycle activities on support and maintenance projects.
• Ability to work in a team in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.

• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
• Experience managing clustered environments or working closely with system administrators.
• Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
