New England Survivors of Torture and Trauma (NESTT) , located in Burlington, Vermont, is seeking anAmeri
CorpsVISTA member as part of our partnership with Hunger Free America. TheVISTA member will be expected to work full-time (35 hours/week with at least two days per week in Burlington), for one year beginning on August 10, 2026 on impactful projects like volunteer recruitment, fundraising, and program development.
Thepositionis paid with a living stipend of $957.46 every two weeks
and an education award of up to $7,395
or an end-of-service stipend
for those uninterested in the education award. In addition, mileage for driving related to the work can be reimbursed.
This program offers an opportunity for passionate individuals to make a real difference in addressing hunger and food insecurity in a professional setting.
Thepositionwill be focused on
increasing food security for vulnerable and marginalized families living in the Burlington area, many of whom may have moved to Vermont from war-torn countries.
