Elderwood Staffing Solutions (ESS) is looking to hire experienced and flexible Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our elite clinical network in our per diem pool!

- Current Vermont License/Certificate.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- Must work 4 shifts monthly, including at least 2 weekend shifts and 2 major holidays per year.
- Western New York: Amherst, Cheektowaga, Grand Island, Hamburg, Lancaster, Lockport, Tonawanda, West Seneca, Wheatfield, & Williamsville.
- Central New York: Brockport, Fairport, Greece, & Liverpool.
- Southern Tier New York: Hornell, Waverly, & Vestal.
- North Country New York: Colonie, Lake Placid, North Creek, & Ticonderoga.
- Other States: Burlington, VT & Wakefield, RI.

Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments to residents as ordered by physicians.
- Direct and monitor personal care and nursing procedures performed by Nursing Assistants.
- Assist Nursing Assistants with direct care of residents as needed.
- Report unusual symptoms, changes, and progress to Unit Manager or Charge Nurse.
- Follow the Plan of Care and monitor Nursing Assistants' performance.
- Ensure resident care standards are maintained and residents' rights & preferences respected.
- Ensure residents and staff are treated with respect and kindness.
- Provide assessment of needs and resident care planning information as requested.
- Observe and maintain confidentiality of resident information.
- Perform duties according to service excellence standards.
- Required to float to at least two of our facilities of your choice.
- Possession of an RN State license and registration to practice.
- Minimum of two years of RN nursing experience and at least one year of experience in a leadership role preferred.
- BSN degree preferred.
- Ability to supervise and work well with staff.
- Maturity, diplomacy, and collaborative skills.
- Caring, respectful attitude towards residents.
- English reading, writing, speaking, and understanding at intermediate or higher level.
