Elderwood Staffing Solutions (ESS) is looking to hire experienced and flexible Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our elite clinical network in our per diem pool!

ESS Requirements
  • Current Vermont License/Certificate.
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
  • Must work 4 shifts monthly, including at least 2 weekend shifts and 2 major holidays per year.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments to residents as ordered by physicians.
  • Direct and monitor personal care and nursing procedures performed by Nursing Assistants.
  • Assist Nursing Assistants with direct care of residents as needed.
  • Report unusual symptoms, changes, and progress to Unit Manager or Charge Nurse.
  • Follow the Plan of Care and monitor Nursing Assistants' performance.
  • Ensure resident care standards are maintained and residents' rights & preferences respected.
  • Ensure residents and staff are treated with respect and kindness.
  • Provide assessment of needs and resident care planning information as requested.
  • Observe and maintain confidentiality of resident information.
  • Perform duties according to service excellence standards.
  • Required to float to at least two of our facilities of your choice.
Qualifications
  • Possession of an RN State license and registration to practice.
  • Minimum of two years of RN nursing experience and at least one year of experience in a leadership role preferred.
  • BSN degree preferred.
  • Ability to supervise and work well with staff.
  • Maturity, diplomacy, and collaborative skills.
  • Caring, respectful attitude towards residents.
  • English reading, writing, speaking, and understanding at intermediate or higher level.
