Position: Travel Surgical ICU Registered Nurse - $2,556 per week

• Nights: 3x12-hour shifts

19:00 – 07:00

• Weekends:
Minimum every other weekend

Must be flexible; no block scheduling permitted

Unit Overview

• Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)

• Floating required to MICU as needed

• Large 500 bed teaching hospital

• Level 1 Trauma Center

Typical Patient Population Includes:

• Post-cardiac surgery

• Vascular patients

• Trauma (Level
1)

• General surgery

• Neurosurgery

• MICU overflow

Hemodynamic device experience required

Requirements

•

Experience:

- Minimum 2 years recent SICU experience
- Prior travel experience required
- Experience in a large (500 bed) teaching facility required

• Certifications (AHA):
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS ( required prior to start )
- CCRN preferred

• EMR:
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years – REQUIRED & NON-NEGOTIABLE

• Scrubs:
Any solid color

Additional Details

• Floating:
Required (MICU as needed)

• Orientation:
- Bi-weekly on Mondays
- Next available orientation: 1/26

• IVS:
Monday–Sunday (IVS to OFFER)

• Distance Rule:
- Distance is measured by straight-line radius , not driving distance

• Employment History:
- All gaps over 90 days must be explained
- Complete work history required (facility type, bed count, EMR, etc.)
