PACU Registered Nurse (RN) Location

This position is located in a large teaching hospital.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Rotating shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours including day and evening; weekend and holiday shifts may be required based on schedule needs.

The PACU Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia, managing critical care situations, and providing support for patients and families.

• Monitor and assess patients in the PACU.
• Manage critical care situations with high acuity patients.
• Administer medications and titrate drips as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, including at least 2 years in a PACU or critical care setting.
• Experience with arterial lines, cardiac monitoring, and titrating multiple intravenous medications is essential.
• Previous experience in a large teaching hospital is required.
• Epic electronic medical records experience within the past 2 years is nonnegotiable.
