Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Tele

Travel Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele in Burlington, VT. This assignment is for a 16-week, hospital-based float pool role starting November 2, 2026. Shift: three 12-hour night shifts per week. Weekly pay ranges from $2,601 to $2,704. This is a travel - temporary assignment with floating required to central Medical-Surgical/Tele units and potentially to related areas. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and able to cover holidays as needed.

• Deliver direct patient care on Med Surg Tele units, including routine assessments and care planning
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and standard treatments per physician orders
• Monitor patient status, interpret findings, and elevate changes in condition promptly
• Document care in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and ensure accurate charting
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care coordination and discharge planning
• Float to related units as needed to support patient care and unit operations

• Active RN license in Vermont (or eligibility) in good standing
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required; NIHSS must be completed prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an acute care setting; level 1 trauma teaching facility experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years
• Ability to float to units including hematology, oncology, orthopedics, med tele, general surgery, neurology (including neuro SDU), neurosurgery, ENT, and GYN
• Must be available for a night-shift schedule (3x12) and able to work 2 of the 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day)
• Reliable transportation to and from shifts
