Pay Range: $21.25 - $32.75 per hour

• Oversee the Food Service operation of the store, including the Food Court area, ensuring budgeted financial objectives, product quality, and presentation standards are achieved.
• Ensure all corporate and state sanitation procedures and regulations are met.
• Supervise and direct the work of Food Service personnel within the department.
• Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers.
• Manage day-to-day department operations, including proper supervision, scheduling, staffing, and adherence to federal, state laws, and corporate policies.
• Hire, train, and develop departmental staff; document performance issues and recommend disciplinary actions as needed.
• Enforce dress code, customer service standards, C.H.O.P.S behaviors, and 5S standards.
• Monitor, control, and achieve pre-established financial results (payroll, budgeted sales, gross profit, turnover, shrink, inventory levels).
• Merchandise department products per corporate planograms, maintain proper shelf and display conditions, ensure stock levels and item rotation, and meet corporate, federal, and state signage policies.
• Maintain cold-case logs, hot food logs, and cooling logs per store policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to manage others, follow-through to achieve desired results, and demonstrate basic literacy and strong communication skills.
• Satisfactory performance reviews; basic computer skills.

High School Degree or equivalent; 3+ years of related experience.

• Exposure to hot environment: 3-5 hours frequently.
• Exposure to cold environment: 1-3 hours occasionally.
• Standing: 5-8 hours constantly.
• Walking: 5-8 hours constantly.
• Grasping/finger movement: 5-8 hours constantly.
• Bending, twisting, pivoting: 3-5 hours frequently.
• Squatting/kneeling, pushing/pulling: 1-3 hours occasionally (up to 75 lbs).
• Lifting: 3-5 hours frequently (up to 25 lbs), 1-3 hours occasionally (up to 50 lbs).

• Scales, knives, slicers, ovens/stoves, cleaning supplies, dolphin, cooking equipment, fryer, phone, register, computer applications.
