Serve as Community Engagement Research Navigator for the Northern New England Clinical and Translational Research ( NNE - CTR ) Network, composed of Maine Health (MH), the University of Vermont ( UVM ), and the University of Southern Maine ( USM ). The NNE - CTR Network is a large, multi-site program whose mission is to develop and sustain a clinical and translational research infrastructure that supports improvement in rural and community health for residents of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.

Foster collaborations across diverse geographic areas and research projects on varied topics, and serve as a catalyst for community engagement in translational research, working with stakeholders across a model of engagement. Facilitate T3 (translation to practice) and T4 (translation to population health) research with clinicians in practice sites.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Master’s in relevant field and three to five years’ experience in relevant field. Ability to educate learners in all aspects of research. Extensive knowledge of statistical principles and methods, and proficiency with computers, databases and computer based analysis packages for research ( SAS , SPSS , or Stata preferred). Ability to function independently, and facilitate projects through all phases of development and implementation.

Anticipated Pay Range at .75 FTE: $50,250 - $54,375

Special Conditions A probationary period may be required, Contingent on continued funding, Travel to and from worksites required, This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
