• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all facility and building systems.
• Complete specialized repairs in areas of technical expertise.
• Provide plant operation and shift oversight as necessary.
• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including water, steam, drainage, and medical gas systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with other trades and departments to support facility operations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Respond to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations as needed.

• High School (GED) education and a State Journeyman's License in one of the following trades:
  Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry or Chief Engineer or Class II (NILUPE).
• In place of licensure, a comparative, cumulative number of years' experience may be considered in a specific specialty trade such as HVAC Technician, Refrigeration Technician, and/or experience in excess of five years in a mechanical, electrical, carpentry or plumbing trade.
• Must possess a valid Vermont driver’s license and safe driving record.
