Sign‑on Bonus

Job Description

Are you interested in doing meaningful, mission‑driven work with families? We are looking for a Family Engagement Specialist to join our team. As a Family Engagement Specialist, you will facilitate family meetings, provide in‑home support, coach parents to create safe and nurturing time with their children placed in DCF custody, support them to meet their children’s needs in the moment, call extended family members to explore support and create genograms.

We work closely with the Department of Children and Families – Family Services Division while maintaining our own comfortable offices.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred
  • Two years of human services experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check are required
  • Your own reliable vehicle with insurance that meets our coverage limits is required
Hours

Full time, 40 hours per week Monday–Friday. We are hoping for flexibility to support parents’ individual schedules. We support a healthy work/life balance in this job.

Compensation

Starting $20.96 hourly. Additional compensation is based upon experience and degree: $21.46 for Associate’s degree; $21.96 for Bachelor’s degree; $23.46 for Master’s degree.
