The Resident Treatment Program at Lund seeks a Residential Shift Supervisor, a vital role in supporting pregnant and parenting individuals in our program. You will create a stable and nurturing environment where residents can heal, grow, and thrive, while ensuring smooth coordination and implementation of residential programming and maintaining a safe, supportive, and structured setting for residents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the initial orientation of new residents.
- Planning and coordinating client activities and encouraging relationship‑building.
- Supporting counseling staff in supervising residents’ daily schedules.
- Helping develop and implement individualized day plans and building strong relationships with residents to enhance communication and trust.
- Managing the hiring and onboarding of new Residential Counselors and Substitute Residential Counselors, ensuring a well‑trained and engaged team.
- Collaborating with internal and external partners, including food services, medical providers, and community resources, to ensure residents receive comprehensive support.

WhatYou Will Bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in a human services related field with a minimum of 3–5 years’ experience.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities, deadlines and demands; work well under pressure; respond to off‑hour crises; commit to some state‑wide travel and flexible hours to meet the needs of a 24‑hour facility.
- Ability to assist with childcare, including lifting infants and toddlers.
- Demonstrate creativity and initiative as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
- A cohesive value system that includes a non‑judgmental attitude regarding reproductive choice, parenting options, and substance‑abusing clients; displays caring, responsive and respectful attitude toward others.
- Validity of a VT Driver’s License and reliable transportation; occasional statewide travel may be required.
