The company operates Agronomy, Propane, Refined Fuels and Wholesale divisions as well as retail Country Store locations in Washington, Idaho and Montana. The company is seeking candidates for a Credit (Accounts Receivables) Specialist at its Main Office in Burlington, WA.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform initial credit account setup and accounts receivables duties.
  • Build and maintain cross-functional relationships throughout the company.
  • Perform general administrative duties (answer and direct telephone calls on a multiline phone system, transport mail to and from the post office, open and process incoming mail, filing and other clerical duties).
  • Negotiate collection arrangements for overdue account balances.
  • Compile credit data following established company policies and guidelines.
  • Assist customers with billing, service and payment questions.
  • Update, maintain and reconcile account information.
  • Carry out continual process improvement and effective delivery of credit services.
  • Build and maintain excellent customer relationships.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures and Sarbanes‑Oxley controls.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Exhibit an ability to receive feedback, adapt to new processes and continuously develop skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to collaborate, communicate well and effectively relay information with an emphasis on developing positive professional relationships.
  • Practice punctual and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Proven track record of being dependable and reliable.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Lift, carry and load 30-pound weight requirements.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • College degree or certificate in finance, accounting or business administration, or equivalent experience.
Schedule

This is a full‑time, in‑person, 40‑hour per week position. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Compensation & Benefits

$23.00 – $27.00/hour. After meeting eligibility requirements, benefits include:
