Looking for a job where fun and purpose come together? The Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County is hiring a Youth Development Professional for our West View Club. This role is about more than after school care-it's about sparking curiosity, encouraging growth, and helping every child feel like they belong.
At West View, you'll be part of a team that combines creativity and structure to support youth each afternoon. From leading projects that stretch young imaginations, to promoting healthy habits, to simply being a trusted mentor, you'll help shape a positive experience that kids look forward to every day.
What You’ll Be Doing:You’ll design and deliver engaging programs that build academic success, strong character, and healthy lifestyles. You’ll help create a safe and supportive environment where youth can try new things, celebrate achievements, and build confidence. Collaboration with your teammates and families is key, and you’ll play an active role in making the Club a welcoming, organized, and fun place to be.
What We’re Looking For:This is a licensed childcare program, so applicants must meet Washington State's requirements for licensed childcare. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent (or be actively working toward one), and complete background checks, a TB test, and provide proof of MMR vaccination or immunity as required by state law. Experience with kids is helpful but not required—we provide training to help you succeed.
What matters most is your ability to stay positive, flexible, and committed to supporting youth.
West View offers a bilingual pay differential of up to $1.25 per hour for Spanish-speaking staff who are willing to provide verbal and/or written translation.
Benefits Include:Eligible employees enjoy access to Paid Time Off and an Employee Assistance Plan. We also provide ongoing training and professional development to help you grow your skills and impact.
About Us:Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. We’re committed to building strong communities through high-quality youth programs that promote resilience, belonging, and leadership.
Ready to make a difference in West View? Apply today and take the first step in building brighter futures.
